Marco Serventi is a photographer and videographer currently based in the south of Switzerland, near the border with Italy.

Born in Lugano, Switzerland, he completed a degree in Film Studies at the Université de Lausanne.

His artistic journey started after moving to Sydney (Australia), where he photographed for commercial clients including Unicef, Clinique, Menulog (GrubHub), AccorHotels, Universal Media, among others.

He is a graduate of the Visual Journalism and Documentary Practice program at the International Center of Photography (New York City) and the Eddie Adams Workshop XXXV.

His work has been published in numerous publications including The New York Times, The Guardian, Wall Street Journal, GEO Magazine, Australian Geographic, Financial Review, and more. His personal work focuses on themes of community, people’s relationship with their environment, and the notion of home.

He speaks English, Italian, French and some Spanish.
